I love taco cat, it’s a great place for good drinks and vibes. Their veggie options aren’t my favorite, but they do have them and they are at least more creative than just a salad. They have really good margs and even some mocktail options

My friends and I stopped at Tacocat while in town for the Masters and enjoyed our experience! There's indoor and outdoor seating, and in April it was perfect for open-air dining. The vibe is casual but hip/modern - perfect for a happy hour type of meal. There was also live music that night and was a great additional element (it was a young lady playing acoustic covers). The food was also great! Between 4 ladies, we split the tuna tostadas (really good!) and then also had the Taco Platter which was a great shareable. The drink menu had a good variety and very tasty. We ended our meal with the ice cream sandwiches and weren't disappointed. We had a great time, and no complaints about the service either.

I was driving by yesterday (05/09/26) and saw it in full swing, so I stopped in. My first thought was that it reminded me of my hometown (Los Angeles). I bellied up to the bar and had a Negra Modelo in a frosty glass and checked out the menu. My time was very limited so I couldn't order but I'll be back. The staff were very welcoming. I was surprised though that one of the BEST margaritas wasn't offered on the menu. In L.A.,...they're known as a "Cadillac Margarita". Served on the rocks in a low-ball with a shot of Grand Marnier served on the side. I've seen them offered at one or two locations here in the CSRA but they're not the real deal and they refer to them as a "Texas Margarita". All in all,...the atmosphere and staff make a significant upgrade to the downtown area. I wish this establishment all the best and many years of success. 🌵🇲🇽🥃🍺🌮🌮🌯🌵

Great downtown eatery. Lost a star because my expectations were so high. My husband said they were the best carne asada fries in Augusta. We've been searching. I did not taste pomegranate in my pomegranate margarita. Bang bang shrimp taco was on point, but the blackened fish taco had no spice (heat) to it at all. We will be back to try the rest! Save room for churros, they were fresh and hot. Take or leave the chocolate sauce.

Went here on a whim on a Friday for a no notice type of going away for a coworker. Started out a handful of us and ended up about 20. The place didn’t skip a beat, we were welcomed with open arms as they opened. Food: Excellent we all had different types of things from wings, to tacos, to my Burrito Cat. All of our meals were great. Mine was nice and tasteful, well seasoned and arrived quickly for the rush we put on them. Service: Excellent, we were greeted as we arrived by a host at a reception type desk, she and our waitress were equally friendly and polite. Our waitresses customer service and recommendations were on point and she was so attentive filling drinks as they emptied and kept asking if we were good. Ambiance: Welcoming environment, with a laid back feel. Modern hipster diner vibes, full bar, booth seating and outdoor dining. Good for a work lunch, date night or family meal. It looked like they also hosted live bands at night also. Will check it out again.
